RUBBER LINING

Fully bonded, vulcanised linings for plant and equipment encountering arduous conditions such as: Corrosion; Chemical Attack; Abrasion & Wear; Weathering;

Ozone; Vandalism; Acids or Alkalis;

Oils or Grease; Sea Water and River Water.

Rubber linings are cut to size and applied by hand from un-vulcanized rubber sheets. The rubber lined parts are then vulcanized, the heat and steam reacts with the bonding systems and the rubber to create an extremely aggressive bond to the steel.

The following types of equipment are often rubber lined: Pressure vessels, storage tanks, hoppers and chutes, pipe, impellers, filter plates, valves, Road tankers, Rolling stock tankers etc.

Rubber Linings is also applied for: Sound Absorbsion; Thermal Insulation; Aesthetic Finish; Electrical Insulation or Conductivity; Food & FDA Approval and Potable Water.

We offer a wide range of Rubber Compounds to suit many different applications... Hard Ebonite (Vulcanite), Soft natural Rubber, SBR, Neoprene, (Chloroprene), Nitrile, Hypalon, Butyl, EPDM (Other compounds by request).

Componds are available in Black, White, Drab, (off-white), we can also offer a large range of colours.

Thickness of rubber linings can range from 1mm to 25mm dependant upon application and substrate design.

We can rubber line both New and Used Equipment.

Old worn coatings can be removed from plant and equipment via pyrolysis control ready for a new covering to save time and money.
