| YRL Supply Polypropylene Blanks - 13/07/2009
YRL extends supplied parts to meet customer’s needs
Within any manufacturing plant conveying chemicals in rubber lined carbon steel pipe work there is a need for rubber faced blank flanges. YRL has always supplied a range of blank flange specifications coated with Ebonite…Natural or synthetic rubber.
Due to recent development work with a major UK chemical manufacturer YRL can now supply blank flanges made from polypropylene. Typically a polypropylene blank will be used as a temporary blanking measure during pipe work overhaul and maintenance.
Polypropylene pipe has excellent chemical and abrasion resistance properties making it ideal for a range of industrial pipe supply purposes. Its characteristics are perfectly suited to process applications including pharmaceutical and chemical processing

Yorkshire Rubber Linings Ltd has reached a landmark. Production has started on the 10,000th customer supplied product.
The large Swing Agitator was the 10,000th customer unit since YRL’s computer generated job card system began.
Our customer database has continued to grow over last 12 months and 2008 shows signs of more new clients to come.

YRL's new fabrication and welding shop holds the key to customer improvements.
Yorkshire Rubber Linings can now reduce customer lead times with the purpose built metal fabrication shop. "Lead times have always being a key issue to our customers and now we have a fabrication shop on site this will improve our already fast lead time to our customers" says Paul Holroyd Quality Manager.
