We refurbish used plant and equipment previously painted, or coated in a wide range of materials. This is done to enable a new coating, to reclaim metal parts, or to decontaminate parts. Our pyrolysis process safely and efficiently reduces linings and coatings to an inert level suitable for landfill and cuts pollution levels.

Cleaned metal parts are either put back into service or safely scrapped. YRL can collect, decontaminate and dispose of scap metal equipment helping customers deal with legacies of redundant parts previously unsuited to normal waste streams.

Pyrolysis cleaning uses high temperatures to break down coatings without causing smoke pollution. The process is used by many industries, for example: painting and coating; rubber and plastic moulding; electric motor manufacture; automotive; oil refining; chemical manufacture.
